What is God's purpose for your life?
God's purpose for everyone is for each one to live a life that helps reconcile (cause to coexist in harmony) all humanity back to God, through faith in Christ. That's by living like Christ did and taking up His purpose, which was to lead others away from sin and to God.
Psalm 57:2 says, "I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me." This is key in understanding God's purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV), "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Notes: We're encouraged by a leader who stirs us to move a head, someone who believes we can do the task he has given and who will be with us all the way. God is that kind of leader. He knows the future, and his plan for us are good and full of hope. As long as God, who knows the future, provides our agenda and goes with us as we fulfill his mission, we can have boundless hope. This does not mean that we will be spared pain, suffering, or hardship, but that God will see us through to a glorious conclusion.
The purpose God has for us is what we need now and forever. Don't think you are on this earth to do earthy things. God has more in store for you now and forever.
